Port and robot simulator: now it moves! (Jan 2013)

The new robots developed by LAGIS (university of Lille in France) using SCANeR studio software are now in the final phase with real tests of unloading and transport of containers in port area.

Tests are done in the Rouen port in France, and has to be done in other european ports.
Robots will have to manage interaction other robots, vehicles and humans... and all will be virtualy generated by SCANeR software, used also as a supervision interface.
Researchs are linked to the InTraDE project (Intelligent transportation for dynamic environment).
