OKTAL presents its Airport Driving Simulator at Arcachon Aerospace Valley Forum

The global competitiveness cluster Aerospace Valley celebrated its eighth technical forum on May the 16th and the 17th at Arcachon. That event brought together the aviation, space and embedded systems community of the Great Southwest of France...

It was an opportunity for OKTAL and its partners to present a prototype of the simulator Which came out from SimCA, a collaborative project labeled Aerospace Valley and funded by the 11th Single Inter-Ministry Fund.

The aim of SimCA project is to offer a training simulator that improves safety during airport operations within the OACI world program to set Management Systems for Airport Safety.

OKTAL, as the leader of this innovative project which is also financed by the Midi-Pyrénées region and OSEO, presented the concrete developments of the simulator and a first draft of the product that cames out of the SimCA project: the AIRPORT DRIVING SIMULATORTM (ADS).
